Case for JY-MCU JY-LKM1638 "8x digital tube LED module" with TM1638
thingiverse
This project requires the JY-MCU JY-LKM1638 "8x digital tube LED module", a widely available component. The front panel features flexible piano keys that are used to press the module's buttons. The rear of the case is simply a box with a shelf designed to hold the circuit board in place. A friction fit holds the front and back plates together securely. It's worth noting that the shelf nearest the buttons on the rear of the case is slightly narrower than the others, allowing for clearance around solder joints located on the back of the board. To assemble this project, start by placing the front panel face down, then insert the module into its designated position. Once the module is in place, secure it with the rear plate.
