Case for HLK-LD2410B Human Presence Sensor with USB C Connector
thingiverse
I designed this Case for a HLK-LD2410B Human Presence Sensor to be used directly with a USB C Connector to supply the 5V input. I use the BLE integration directly in Home Assistant, so no ESP unit is required. I just soldered 5V and Ground to the Connector and plugged it in. Works well through the material. The Case is the part through which the antenna is directed outwards, so the open face. I designed multiple Covers, that all work together with the same Case, to allow for different mounting solutions. Most of them are assumed to be mounted in corners, thus feature a 90° outer angle but direct the antenna in different directions (30°, 45°, 60°). Also, a flat surface is provided. Just print the one you need, and consider to which side you want the USB port (30° and 60° are not the same part). Only the 45° was actually printed by me, as that reflects my mounting situation. The flat one might be a bit thin at the part above the USB connector. The connecting surface between the Case and Cover is sloped at a 5° angle, to allow for a snug fit and prevent accidental openings. They have to be pressed together with some force (yet careful enough to not break the sides) and can be opened by inserting a screwdriver into the recess at the opposite end of the USB port and twisting it. The USB C Connector is 12x15 mm off Aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002795893679.html Covers are best printed on one of their "roofs", so the sloped sides.
