The LS20031 series GPS module's case (available at sparkfun.com/products/8975) boasts a top hole for antenna attachment - the metallic dot. To minimize stringing, print the base and lid separately in different sessions. The images showcase a PLA print at 230°C with Netfabb's Ultra:Ultra settings. Post-print, abstain from sanding or trimming off excess material; instead, await completion of both parts to assess fit accuracy. If necessary, adjust by sanding or cutting for a snug fit. Optionally, apply soft/flexible padding on the button to ensure a perfect GPS unit fit. Feel free to adapt the design, adding side holes for mounting with screws onto other surfaces.
