Designing This Project I began with the original package and a ruler, scanning both using a flatbed scanner to get accurate measurements. To scale up the design in software, I used the ruler as a reference point. Next, I converted the image to black and white, cleaned up any rough edges, and applied the Trace Bitmap option in Inkscape to produce a detailed point map. I then exported this data as an SVG file, which I imported into 123D Design. Designing the Plate My focus was on the plate at the center of the design, ensuring that it aligned perfectly with the quad's specifications. Once satisfied with the spacing and positioning, I designed the rest of the box around the plate to create a seamless fit.
