In my toolshed, a multitude of unidentifiable electronic components are scattered about, all destined for the box labeled "to be sorted... if time allows." On EBay, I discovered so-called component testers that can quickly identify any component and its key parameters with ease. This affordable device (18€) arrived from Hong Kong without any customs issues after just 10 days, making it a cheap buy. Therefore, I needed a proper case to house this device properly. To solve this problem, I designed an openSCAD design that generates a two-part case which fits together seamlessly without requiring any tools or screws. You can either use the two STL files (rotate the cover by 180 degrees) or generate modified files using openSCAD. In the scad file, both parts are included; you would have to comment out the one you don't want to generate. I printed both parts from PLA with a speed of 60mm/s and 20% infill on my Ultimaker 2. To complete the assembly, you must rotate the cover (kompo_deckel.stl) by 180 degrees.
