Case for DIY bench power supply
thingiverse
I'm taking on a project involving one of those affordable DIY bench power supplies available on eBay. Specifically, this design is tailored for the model found at https://ebay.to/2MXaFNq. To enhance functionality, I drilled a hole to accommodate a 12V DC fan, which can be securely mounted to the case. The PSU board features a dedicated connector for the fan, ensuring a seamless integration. The top section of the case is assembled using glue, while the PCB is attached to the bottom with M3 screws hidden within the feet of the case. This design can be printed without supports and doesn't require post-print processing. **Update 2018-09-09** I've added slots above the screw-connectors, input, and output, allowing for easy access using a screwdriver even when the case is fully assembled.
