Case for Creative Electronics 5 Channel Summing Mixer for Pocket Operators (PO-SCM)
thingiverse
This is a case for the awesome little "5 Channel Summing Mixer for Pocket Operators" by Creative Electronics. https://www.tindie.com/products/creative-electronics/5-channel-summing-mixer-for-pocket-operators/ This is really to print, no supports, not brim, nothing. The mixer can be a bit finicky to get into the case, but once it is inside it fits really snug. Battery can be put in/taken out without opening the case. Unfortunately the switches are not accesible from the outside, but the back of the case is easy to remove to get to the switches, and you usually won't need to access them during a performance. There are some imperfections from my hacking the original model, but it is simple, does its job nicely and is easy to create and assemble. For creation: I took the model for the Pocket Operator cases and created a stand-in reference model for the mixer (STL also in the files here - no need to print it). I modified the PO case to fit the mixer (close the input/sync holes, slightly elongate the whole thing, remove a bit of material from the back to make space for the switches and SMD resistors, enlargen the battery hole, and of course create holes for the controls and ports of the mixer).
