case for bed occupancy sensor
thingiverse
I'd like to see my custom-made bed occupancy sensor case, which I've designed and shared on GitHub: https://github.com/martikainen87/Home-Automation/wiki/ESP8266---Bed-Occupancy-Sensor. The internal dimensions of this sleek design measure 51.5mm x 70.5mm, perfectly accommodating the PCBs I'm using - a standard measurement that ensures seamless integration. To accommodate the NodeMCU headers, there are four strategically placed "cliffs" at the bottom of the case. The large hole is reserved for the USB cable, while the smaller one allows for easy access to the RFS. Securing the lid in place requires zip-ties, providing a sturdy and reliable fastening mechanism. I created this design using SketchUp 2018, so feel free to modify it to suit your specific needs. My next step would be to add screw holes for attaching the case under the bed, adding an extra layer of stability and security.
