Case for Beagle Bone Black
thingiverse
A casing with lid is designed for Beaglebone Black utilization. The case model allows precise positioning of openings, which is provided as an individual OpenSCAD file for other projects. Printed in PLA and ABS on a Makerbot Replicator using Makerware with "new improved" rafts and no supports. Explicit supports are included to prevent sagging of larger openings, removable with a hobby knife post-printing. To install the board, push the microSD slot end first while aligning pegs with mounting holes, followed by the other end's placement. The OpenSCAD file generates both lid and base, but 'floorThickness' can be set to 0 for a box without a floor, reducing plastic usage, printing time, and ease of board removal.
