Before starting, take a moment to read the description. This housing is specifically designed for BPI-R1 routers and features a slot to accommodate hdd drives. To get started with building your project, I recommend checking out Tutorial BPi-R1 written by Reto Ros: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LVuukSuby7aCuAaQezFn-kM8ZQM-I0kuGiI_XnT0sDg/edit Next, print the 3d file BPI_R1_Banana_Pi_Router_Main_support.stl - it includes pre-drawn support. Be sure to turn off automatic generation of support during printing. No post-printing machining is required; simply assemble and attach the components. At the bottom of the enclosure, a hole is provided for attaching the drive - check out one of the product images for reference. To build your BPI-R1 router NAS server housing, you'll need: * 4 screws (10mm or 12mm diameter, 2.5mm thick) * 1 screw to secure the drive * A screwdriver * Optional: if using a hinged lid, you'll also need a drill with a 3-4mm bit You should pre-drill mounting holes in the BPI_R1_Banana_Pi_Router_Main so that you can attach screws on the bottom. If choosing a push-cover design, skip this step and use Mounting_adapters_for_screw. Print these according to the size of your screw adapters. If your printed case has skewed by 0.5mm or 1mm during printing, use either Cover_with_shift_0_5_mm.stl or Cover_with_shift_1_0_mm.stl. You can also use Cover_with_embossing.stl for a ribbed design - note that the lid and base casing will look better when painted different colors. Finally, secure the anti-slip mat under the router at screw locations.
