Case for Adafruit´s Arduino LCD Keypad Shield
thingiverse
This user has created a case for their Arduino and KeypadShield from Adafruit, complete with a compartment for a 9V battery. The top case isn't finished yet but the bottom fits well. The design is intended for assembly with M3 screws, and the creator hopes it may be useful to others. If there are any issues with the design, they encourage feedback for improvement. Recent updates include adding a USB cutout in the top shell and realigning button hole positions on both shells. The bottom shell's right mounting holes for the Arduino have also been fixed to accommodate M3x6 screws. In another update, the work buttons' keypad has been added, but the reset button is still missing. The top shell has been redesigned to fit the keymat, which was secured in place by melting the fixpoints with a soldering iron. The instructions are simple - just print the case as finely as desired. The creator notes that the keymat can be challenging to print; they recommend printing it three times with cooling on for optimal results.
