Case for 7040 Mellow Blower and 19mm CPAP Hose

This is a case and mount for a 7040 blower to be used with a 19mm CPAP hose for remote cooling. The design is pretty self explanatory and simple, just a case and some screws to hold things together. This was designed around the Mellow blower and the BLDC controller that goes with it. The case can be printed out of just about anything, I used PETG and a 0.2 layer height. There is an adaptor for the 19mm CPAP hose that is meant to be printed from TPU. I have not and don’t plan to test it with a rigid polymer. All the parts are designed to be printed without the need for supports. There are 4x M4 sized holes on the rear to allow you to mount it however you want. I have no idea what the size of the 3 screws are for the 7040 blower and I couldn’t find any information on it. I used some random screws I had floating about. I’m sorry, you’ll have to trial and error that part. Assembly Remove the pins from the JST connectors for the input to the board and feed the wires through the side of the case opening and then put the pins back in the connectors and connect them to the board. Now Install the BLDC controller using the M2 screws and nuts, the nuts should be on the inside of the case, the outside is recessed for the bolt heads. Next, secure the bowler in place using the three screws. Finally, install the TPU adapter for the CPAP hose. Mount the case in your desired location, the shorter the travel length of the hose the better. Install the cover and secure with a pair of M3x6 screws for the case, the holes are self threading.
