Case for 45x26mm panel meter ball joint
thingiverse
I used Selmo's model to test his STL, but my cable is on the other side, so I decided to open it from behind, as it would make it easier to remove the thermometer and swap out the batteries. Then, I got the idea to modify the connection on a ball joint, which worked perfectly for me. Sorry about my poor English skills. Thanks to Selmo's model, I was able to figure out that removing the back part of the device would be better for accessing both the cables and the thermometer, allowing me to replace its batteries easily. It also made sense to change the type of connection between the base and the thermometer to a ball joint, which now lets it rotate freely with a satisfying click whenever it locks into place.
