Case for 18650 Powered Raspberry Pi Zero With Screen
thingiverse
This is a case for a battery powered Raspberry Pi Zero W. All parts for this build are available through amazon. Supports may be required if your printer does not bridge well but the supports would only be needed in the holes for the switch and the SD card. This was kind of a quick and dirty design but It works surprisingly well for what I needed. All parts are friction fit but this will be printer dependent. Small dabs of hot glue can hold components in place if it is too loose but I did not need any adhesive. Back is also friction fit but I did use a small amount of heat to bend in the sides of the enclosure to get it a bit tighter. Designed in Sketchup 2017. SKP files are attached as well. Parts List Raspberry Pi Zero W. (Will work with the standard zero but it was designed for Bluetooth connectivity.). 18650 LiIo battery ( I get about 10 hours of run time off of a 3000mah Samsung cell) 18650 battery holder. (Designed around the type that has leads coming off each side.) Slide switch. Bought in a 20 pack. The 5mm high style is best as it leaves adequate length sticking out of the case. DC to DC boost converter to step of the LiIo voltage to 5 volts. Male Micro USB connector to feed power to the Pi.
