Case for 12V PWM Fan Temperature Control Speed Controller (With STEP file)
thingiverse
This is a case for a 12 fan controller that uses a temperature sensor to regulate the fan speed through PWM. You can find them cheaply on eBay or on Amazon at the link below: https://smile.amazon.com/Comidox-Temperature-Control-Controller-High-Temp/dp/B07LBLWYZF To make this, you will need a few extra parts, including 4x M3 brass inserts, 4x M3 x 6mm screws, 4x M3 x 10mm screws, and 1x DC 2.1x5mm panel connector. You can find the latter cheaper on eBay in quantity of two at the link below: https://www.amazon.com/10Pack-Adapter-Connector-Dustproof-Lsgoodcare/dp/B078YP4CP6 Additionally, you will need a compatible 12v power supply and a zip tie. The fans must be four-pin fans. There are two lids available for this case, one with magnets designed for 8x3mm cylinder magnets. However, I am unsure how well it will hold with magnets, so use it at your own risk. The other case back is simply a flat top case, which I plan to secure using VHB tape. A step file is included for easy remixing of the design. If you make one, please post your creation, and feel free to suggest any improvements or to remix the design as you see fit. Please note that the parts are not oriented for printing, so I recommend using tree supports. I have also made a 120mm fan vent available to help direct airflow, which can be found at the link below: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3719445 The current draw with two 120mm fans on low is shown in the fifth picture, although it was bouncing around slightly.
