Case (fits straight edge razor)

This is a two-part case designed for objects measuring .393" x 1.102" x 5.709". The sides of both the base and cover are sloped towards drain holes, ensuring smooth airflow when stood upright. When assembled, a sloping surface leading to drain holes facilitates drainage. This case was originally designed for a Parker SR1 Stainless Steel Straight Edge Barber Razor but can accommodate other items that fit inside. As a novice in designing snap-fit cases, I aimed to create a design that requires some pressure to close but stays snug with no movement between the cover and base once secured. Conversely, it should take moderate force to remove the cover from the base. During my first print, the cover was excessively tight to assemble properly. To resolve this issue, I carefully trimmed one of the nubs on the cover, which allowed for a smooth fit. Moving forward, I will optimize the design to make it easier to put on and take off.
