Case Feeder - Bearing Based - V3.0 - for Hornady AP

This is an upgrade of the Hornady AP Case Feeder - Bearing Based - V1.0 released in January 2021, available here : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4719734. V2.0 was never released publicly. Use the link above for instructions and materials needed. This will require more than 10 bearings now, so just buy 20. Note, for users with Inline Fabrication Mounts, use LowerSlide_FlatV3.obj. For users of the standard set bin mount use LowerSlide_Flat_BaseSetV3.obj All of the parts for this assembly have been upgraded from V1.0/V2.0, with the exception of the MountBracket and SlideGuide (and perhaps the 7tubetop). The objects should be scaled appropriately, with the exception of the Indexer and Indexer Pin (2750 scale). There are 5 calibers available, but I have included the .ipt for a pistol and rifle caliber, so any number can be accommodated. This is a good opportunity for those not familiar with 3D modeling to make something of their own. Within either file, modify the "Emboss1" element to change the caliber label, modify "Height 14 plus 2" to your cartridge height. The calculation is ([Cartridge Height] - 12mm). finally, adjust the "Caliber" element to reflect the diameter of your cartridge. Oversizing by 1.5mm has worked for me in the past. The provided 9mm component could benefit from minor upsizing of this dimension as is sanded mine to work a bit better. Depending on your print settings and shrinking, a rubber band around the top of the caliber sleeve and the back pin of the mount should resolve any alignment issues you have. I have also provided the slide pusher in .ipt. feel free to make one for each caliber you use; however, I have not found a need to modify it for my use. The only "manual" modification I made to mine was to sand a chamfer into the top to aid in cases dropping accurately and consistently. I have provided the .ipt of the "LowerSlide_Flat_BaseSet". This was created for users of the standard, or base set, AP press. I use the Inline Fabrication mount, so I have not tested this component. It likely needs tweaking, so you have the model to start from. Quite a bit of work has gone into getting this from the original plastic on plastic slider that I recreated the models for to where it is now. I encourage anyone who would like to to make enhancements to this model and tag them with "APCaseFeeder_Bearing". This would be particularly useful for the caliber and slide pusher models that you come up with, and potentially revisions to the lower slide for the base set. That way others can quickly find enhancements for this model. I will be taking a hiatus from work on this design. If you have any suggestions for enhancing the functionality of this design, please feel free to message me, but you may not get a response for some time. Finally, feel free to print these parts for sale. I do not have any intention of selling them myself and don't have the facility to do so. That being said, price it fairly since anyone can underbid you if they want. No selling the files for profit.
