Cascading Shirt Stripes
thingiverse
I designed the custom star's side stripes that I showcased earlier. They were incorporated onto a shirt, with the star centered and the cascading stripes on either side, similar to this layout: -=*=- All the elements are arranged so they can be printed in a single operation on both sides of the fabric. The lower stripe is designed to be angled on each side to conform to the shirt's curves. This design was my first foray into 3D-printed fashion, courtesy of my wife's coworker. I hope you find it useful if you're looking for cascading stripes; enjoy! This creation was made possible using Tinkercad: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/0mMYHYRVNVI Print Settings: Printer: XYZ Da Vinci Jr 1.0 Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 30% Notes: I recommend a minimum of 30% infill for this design, as the stripes are not very tall. Honeycomb infill yielded better results; using rectilinear infill led to almost every print failing!
