This notable work of art nouveau architecture in Alcoy was designed by Vicente Pascual Pastor in Nineteen Oh Nine. The building stands as a clear example of Valencian Art Nouveau style from the early twentieth century. Its name originates from the iron peacock sculptures that flank its main entrance. La Casa del Pavo is a five-story private residential building with an attached studio where renowned painter Fernando Cabrera Cantó worked alongside architect Vicente Pascual Pastor to add ornamentation and decoration to the structure. Other notable works by Vicente Pascual include "El Panteón de Agustin Gisbert," "La Casa Raduán," and "El Parque de Bomberos."
