In 3ds Max 2010 with V-Ray 2.40.03, export files in FBX format without fur. Create a Carys Sheepskin Footstool model measuring 50x40x40 cm. The fur is generated by geometry. Alternatively, delete the geometry and apply the modifier to simulate fur effect. To render, access the Rendering - Effects tab, click Hair and Fur, and choose mr prim mode. Utilize system units in mm. If rendering with geometry, convert the model into a proxy prior to rendering. Render in Effects mode for a more realistic outcome.
