The artifact in question is a carved stone ball unearthed from Frankly Den, Balbeggie, Perthshire. It was discovered on October 14th, 1959, and later acquired through the Treasure Trove system in 1996. This relic dates back to the Late Neolithic era, specifically between 3200-2500 BC. Measuring 66mm in diameter and weighing 372 grams, it is now displayed at Perth Museum and Art Gallery with accession number PM 1959/17. A detailed model of this artifact was created by Dr. Hugo Anderson-Whymark utilizing 190 photographs taken with a Canon 70D camera equipped with a 60mm Macro lens.
