Three of the prominent bosses feature irregular incised line engravings that add to their visual appeal. The bosses themselves are low-profiled and characterized by gentle curves, with defined lines separating them from one another. Over 400 examples of this unique type of object have been discovered in Scotland alone. Britain and Ireland boast a rich collection of these artifacts, dating back to the Late Neolithic period and extending through the Iron Age.
