I was approached by a colleague at work with an unusual request: to craft a custom phone case that would allow them to leave their device out in plain sight while still keeping it concealed from view. I found this ask intriguing, and my curiosity got the better of me - I decided to push the boundaries of what's considered normal in phone cases. The result is a design that bears a striking resemblance to a vintage VHS cassette case. Functionally speaking, this creation works surprisingly well, as long as you don't attempt to use it as an impromptu percussion instrument. The phone's sizeable dimensions and rubberized casing ensure a snug fit within the custom-made interior. I've included a photo of a Samsung Galaxy S9 for reference, but keep in mind that the dimensions provided - 1178.1mm x 90.8mm x 17.4mm - are for the inside case itself, which has rounded corners to make it more user-friendly.
