A lower-res, adorable cartoon cow is achieved using basic ramp shaders, one texture file for the body color, and a mental ray lighting setup that brings it to life. The original Maya file comes packed with two cows: a low-resolution one and a higher-resolution, smoothed version cleverly hidden from view. Additionally, high and low resolution OBJ exports are included for further customization options. The cow's eyes are cleverly placed in a separate group where they can be easily manipulated using a simple lattice deformer.
