Cartoon Puffer Fish by Wobblefin Studios. This is the 3DS MAX Version of our Cartoon Puffer Fish Rig. It's fully rigged and textured in 3ds Max 2013, ready for action. The rigging was done using CAT, along with some custom morph targets to give the spikes and body their unique shapes. We also added a mix of vertex paint selection and noise modifiers to achieve this look and make it renderable in Vray. Included in this version is the .obj file of the model, so you can start animating right away. A Maya version of this character will be available soon, so stay tuned if you need the rigged cartoon Manta Ray for your project. The character comes with a studio lighting setup using Vray, which renders quickly and easily. Feel free to use it as you wish - we hope you have fun animating the puffer fish and enjoy using our character! The studio lighting scene is included with this download.
