At that time, the 80s were thriving with artisan workshops producing ceramics, brass, and glass. Following a decade-long stint (during which he fathered two sons) in this vibrant artistic community, Dinley decided to strike out on his own with his first terracotta production line. Encouraged by his wife, he founded Toscot in 2001, focusing on innovative lighting designs that blended traditional methods with modern flair. Today, the company continues to grow and export its products to over 30 countries worldwide. Toscot's guiding principle is to showcase the unique qualities of the Tuscan territory through design. Each piece crafted by the company boasts an added value: respect for time-honored manufacturing techniques, meticulous attention to detail, and hands-on control throughout the production process.
