Aston Martin DB-5 The luxury grand tourer Aston Martin DB-5 is made by Aston Martin and designed by Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera. Launched in 1963, it is an evolution of the final series of DB4. The DB series honours David Brown, who was the head of Aston Martin from 1947–1972. The DB-5 becomes famous for being the first and most recognized cinematic James Bond car, appearing first in Goldfinger in 1964. Jaguar E-Type The Jaguar XK-E, also known as the Jaguar E-Type, is a British sports car made by Jaguar Cars Ltd from 1961 to 1974. The combination of good looks, high performance and competitive pricing sets up the marque as an icon of motoring in the 1960s. More than 70,000 E-Types are sold. In March 2008, the Jaguar E-Type ranks first in a Daily Telegraph online list of the world's "most beautiful cars" ever built. Sports Car International magazine puts the E-Type at number one on their Top Sports Cars of the 1960s in 2004. Jaguar Mark 2 The medium-sized saloon car, Jaguar Mark 2, is made from late 1959 to 1967 by the Jaguar company in Coventry. The last twelve months before they start announcing XJ6 are re-labeled as Jaguars 240 and 340. Previously, the models Jaguar 2.4 and 3.4 were produced between 1955 and 1959, but they were later recognized as Mark I Jaguars after they begin making this Model 2 in Jaguar production facilities. The pre-war saloons built by Jaguar since the war are designated by Roman numerals, for instance, the Marks VII and VIII, but they go back to Arabic numerals for this model MK II that they show on the rear of the car.
