The Aston Martin DB-5 is a luxury grand tourer, produced from 1963 by Aston Martin and designed by Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera. As an evolution of the final series of DB4, this model was named in honour of David Brown, head of Aston Martin (1947–1972). Iconic as James Bond's first cinematic car, it debuted in Goldfinger (1964). In contrast, the Jaguar E-Type or XK-E (1961-1974) was a British sports car that became an emblem of 1960s motoring for its good looks, high performance, and competitive pricing. Over 70,000 were sold; it ranked first in The Daily Telegraph's "100 most beautiful cars" list in 2008 and topped Sports Car International's Top Sports Cars of the 1960s list. Lastly, the Jaguar Mark 2 (MK 2) was a medium-sized saloon car built from 1959 to 1967 in Coventry, England. Labeled as Jaguar 240 and Jaguar 340 before the announcement of XJ6, it succeeded the Mark 1 Jaguars (1955-1959). Distinctively, MK 2 was denoted by Arabic numerals on the rear of the car.
