Carrying Aid

Ease your commute with a bike accessory designed for carrying your bike on either shoulder when necessary. This helpful tool is perfect for situations such as carrying a bike upstairs or from an underground station to the street. The bike frame features a partial dummy design and has an outer tube diameter of 29 mm and an inner tube diameter of 23 mm, based on the saddle tube's outer diameter. A simplified representation shows where the "Carrying Aid" is placed, with a 73° angle between the bike frame tubes. The dimensions of the bike frame are sourced from a mountain bike. The saddle is a carry-over part designed by Les Hardwick-Grey, who shared the model as a STEP file. To fasten the carrying aid on the bike frame, four separate additional components are needed: two identical parts (3D-printable) and two O-rings with a cord diameter of 5 mm or alternatively, two velcro straps with a width of 25 mm. The complete model is available in STEP and native files for PTC Creo Parametric 2.0 users, while both models (for 3D printing) are available in STEP, STL, and native files in a zip folder.
