Carry Handle and Corner Protectors
thingiverse
I constructed a sturdy case out of plywood to house my light equipment and needed a reliable carry handle that could withstand regular use. This design appears robust enough to meet my requirements... Attaching it with two wood/metal/sheetrock screws proved straightforward. I opted for 2" sheetrock screws, which provide an excellent hold. Additionally, I wanted to safeguard the corners from accidental knocks and scratches. These corner pieces work seamlessly with #6 x 1/2" flat-head screws. However, it's worth noting that screw tips longer than 3/4" may interfere with one another when stacked. The provided x4 .stl file features four identical copies of a single corner piece, allowing for easier printing and assembly of full sets. Printing without supports was a breeze.
