Carrom Striker
thingiverse
We lost our carrom striker at home, so I ended up making 2 new ones. I tried following the official rules/dimensions as close as possible, so I had to use a metal composite filament to match the specified weight. Using a larger nozzle size and layer height seems to give the part additional strength. I did a little bit of post-processing to make sure there were no rough edges or surfaces. Even after playing a few matches for testing, I had 0 complaints. It glided smoothly across the board and it didn't show any signs of damage or chips. "Carrom (also spelled carom/carroms) is a tabletop game of Indian origin. The game is very popular in South Asia and the Middle East, and is known by various names in different languages." "Striker pieces are used to push the carrom men and the queen across the board to the pockets." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrom#Strikers "The Striker shall be smooth and round with a diameter of not more than 4.13 cm and weighing not more than 15.00 gms." http://www.indiancarrom.co.in/laws-of-carrom/
