For over a year now, IGUS bearings have been slipping on the X and Y shafts of my AM8. It was high time for an update, because the IGUS bearings were extremely worn out, an exact guidance was no longer given, which was also shown in the print. I've always wanted to try sintered bearing bushes on the X- and Y-axis, preferably on 12mm shafts. So I started a test, but first on the old 8mm shafts. Therefore I developed the carriers shown here with OpenSCAD, very simple, without much effort. The OpenSCAD file is included so that everyone can make their own changes. As sinter bearing bushes I used SELFOIL_08x12x20. To say it right away, I am thrilled with the result! Never before did the print table and the print head glide so precisely and easily over the shafts. So the conversion to 12mm shafts will be done in the near future. I printed the carrier in PETG with the following print parameters: 60% fill density, 0,12mm layer height, 4 vertical contours, 3 horizontal contour envelopes, 40mm/s Print speed without support. With a successful print I would be very happy about a Like! Greeting Hardy
