These are the solutions I came up with after experiencing desync issues and perhaps being a bit too aggressive when removing parts from the print surface. Note that the desync problems originated from the upper bearings for the z-axis threaded rods binding. All the plastic components holding the linear bearing were broken where they passed through the carriage. I fixed them, then designed these to prevent the issue from happening again. There are four options presented: the ones without a cut-out require taking the carriage apart, while the ones with a cut-out slide over the rod and then up over the linear bearing before being screwed or clamped into place - if you prefer not to drill a hole in your carriage.
