Carriage plate adapter for Wanhao i3 offset bearing blocks
thingiverse
After upgrading the carriage plate on my Wanhao Duplicator i3 v2.1, I printed custom offset bearing blocks designed by @prometheus-3d to adapt the standard aftermarket plate to the wanhao: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1375534 The only issue is that the new bearing blocks raise the plate by 10mm, requiring the belt mount to stretch the belt upward to attach to the plate. Moreover, the belt mount's holes (M4) don't align with and are too large for the holes in the new plate (3mm). This straightforward adapter plate fills the 10mm gap, allowing you to use the original plate and belt holder without having to drill any new holes. Print Settings: Printer: M3D Rafts: Yes Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: .25 Infill: 8.75 Notes: I printed this on my M3D since my i3 was already in disassembly mode. The adapter plate is slightly oversized due to the M3D's inconsistent dimensional accuracy, but it should still work fine on a better printer.
