Carriage Stop for South Bend 9" Lathe. It fits perfectly, or also suitable for SB 10K lathe. The setup includes a standard 1/4-20 x 2" long hex head screw and standard 1/4-20 nut. Important Note: This carriage stop doesn't have electrical interlock provisions and South Bend lathes don't come with spindle brakes either. It's absolutely crucial to never run the carriage into the stop while using power feed. Something is bound to break, and it will likely be costly (Murphy's Law). Always cut off the power feed before reaching the stop and finish the last bit by hand. The stop is designed large enough to mount a dial indicator in position, engaging a flat spot on the carriage for precise measurements.
