Carplay holder for (new) Peugeot 3008
thingiverse
The Peugeot 3008 (new model) boasts a very rich multimedia interface, supporting 2 USB ports and carplay via USB. However, the available spaces fall short of the possibilities, providing only one USB port and no room in the console for both a switch and a smartphone. To address this issue, I designed a customizable support system that can be adjusted to fit your specific needs. The system consists of a modular design, allowing you to place it in the center console without leaving cables or USB keys visible. You can tailor any part of the support system to suit your measurements. For example, if you have a Samsung 7 smartphone with a protective shell, you can easily adjust the smartphone support to fit your device perfectly. Similarly, you can customize the tray for holding keys to match your specific requirements. To assemble this project, I used the following components: * A standard USB cable (available on Amazon at http://amzn.eu/2mJpFRg) * A USB switch (also available on Amazon at http://amzn.eu/emJCfnY) * 10mm x 5 screws * 18mm x 10 screws * A short, standard USB cable to power your smartphone via the switch port The final cable is routed under the gear box, and you can easily remove the gearbox cover by gently unclipping it. I've included all the necessary photos for this project. I'm confident that this setup can be adapted for use in a Peugeot 5008 (new model) as well.
