Carpfishing marker
thingiverse
A simple marker for carpfishing. The fishing store in my city sold a marker for 10€, since I am tired to spend so much money every time, I designed this one. Making it costs about 30 cents. To assemble you need: * Ø 1 mm stainless steel wire * Cyanoacrylate glue * Ø 12mm wooden dowel rod, about 14 centimeters long * A swivel Then: 1. Take a piece of stainless steel wire and create a U; 2. Insert the swivel in the U; 3. Gluing the U inside the holes in the "top piece"; 4. Gluing the top and the tail pieces to the wooden bar. If you want, you can protect the wood with some primer. The best wood to use is balsa, unfortunately, I was not able to find it, so I used samba (I don't know the English name) which works good as well. UPDATE: Actually samba is quite too heavy, and I am not able to find balsa wood yet. So I made a tube and I filled it with polystyrene (taken from packing stuff), and works good. I printed the tube in vase mode with a layer height of 0.3 mm with a 0.4 nozzle.
