I'm always creating precision tools when framing houses, so this little helper came out of it. The two inch slots are used by carpenters to frame in corners at perfect angles every time, while the dashed lines serve as markers for specific degrees. To reference 45 degrees precisely, a separate marking was applied directly on the device. Every dash represents an exact 5 degree mark and could become incredibly helpful when framing complex house corners with precise measurements required to fit pieces together perfectly if people would actually use it regularly
