Carnotaurus was a fierce carnivore, thriving in South America during the late Cretaceous period. Its name translates directly to "meat-eating bull," and its physical resemblance to a Tyrannosaur is undeniable, complete with intimidating horns. Scientists have made a groundbreaking discovery with the recovery of an exceptionally well-preserved Carnotaurus skeleton, providing invaluable insights into this genus as well as other theropods. Carnotaurus boasts the shortest forelimbs among all theropods, even dwarfing those of the notoriously undersized Tyrannosaurus Rex. Researchers speculate that these arms may have been entirely vestigial, serving no functional purpose, in stark contrast to the T. Rex's arms, which are now believed to have played a significant role.
