Keep the bugs at bay! This Zoetrope snaps up and wiggles its six tentacles. Spin him under the strobe light from your phone's LED flash to animate! SLS recommended https://youtu.be/Vyb4I50tOCw Instructions: - Caution: Printed product is very detailed and delicate. - Place handle end caps into center spindle on your Zoetrope. - Download free strobe app for iPhone or Android. For iOS, I recommend iLights Flashlight as it has a fast strobe setting, but feel free to experiment and share your best app. Link to App: (I don't have access to an Android phone, but there are lots of options too.) - Set strobe to fastest setting, keeping the light away from your eyes. - Spin Zoetrope and set your sights on a single point in the circle. - For best results, view in a semi-dark environment and keep at about arm's length. - Speed and apparent animation direction will depend on spin and strobe speed. The more constant both are, the better. Videos were made with a record player. - For more fun, shine LED onto a wall for oversized animated shadow puppets! Don't forget the handle or record-player adapter!
