I'd been using a smartwater bottle with a hole punched about an inch and a half from the bottom as a water-maintainer for my windowsill carnivorous plant bog garden, but refilling involved putting a finger over the hole, removing the cap, and trying to pour distilled water in without it leaking. This is a screw on top that will maintain the water level somewhere around 1.25/30mm and is much easier to fill. It should work with giant 2l soda bottles as well. This thing isn't perfect; it's just quick and dirty. I included the sketchup file of the cleaned up source along with my own additions in case you need to change the height of the hole, shape or size of the base, etc. Be aware that if you use smaller bottles, it might float and tip over after it empties if you use lower infill/wall/topbottom settings. This fits soda style threads and fancier bottled water.
