Carnegie Hall, a masterwork of architecture, was brought to life by the visionary design of William Burnet Tuthill in 1891. The renowned philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, however, provided the necessary resources to see this project through to completion. With a legacy as one of the most respected destinations on earth for both classical music and popular music alike, Carnegie Hall takes its place alongside the greatest venues the world has ever seen. Every season, it plays host to around 250 spectacular performances that are brought together under its own highly effective artistic programming department, coupled with innovative marketing strategies that truly shine.
