Carl's Star Wars Imperial Probe Droid ================ ==== Probe Droid ========== This is my take on the Empire Strikes Back Imperial Probe Droid. I made this from a handful of reference pictures, and it took some time to do but, ⚠ my design is not 100% done yet ⚠,... I still have some work to do with the greebles, so I will be working on this for a bit and uploading new versions as I go! This Imperial Probe Droid has a lot of detail, with hollow head and body for any lighting kits or servos you like to add and separate lens for the head. This model will look absolutely amazing when made and all painted and weathered. I was going with the studio scale model of around 36 to 39 inches but ended up at 23 inches from top of the antenna to bottom of leg, just down to most of the parts fitting on a CR-10S printer,... Notable models included the DRK-1 Dark Eye probe droid and the Viper probe droid. They could be equipped with both shields and blasters. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As with all of my free designs, they do take hours/weeks of work and a lot of test prints to perfect plus all the support and help to users needing it, so if you feel this is something you like/download/use for the very small price of a coffee, you can tip me and keep me continuing to bring you some great designs and help in the future.
