Carlo's Journey with Johnny 5: A Life-Size Adventure Begins ============================================= Join me on an epic journey through the world of 3D printing as we bring the beloved character Johnny 5 to life. This project is a movie-accurate, full-size (1:1 scale) model, perfectly complementing my earlier creation - a full-size Johnny 5 head. Important Note: This life-sized model is designed to be poseable, but for me, it's a static representation of the iconic character. Feel free to experiment and have fun with your own 3D printed Johnny 5. Inspired by the 1986 classic film Short Circuit, our story begins in the late Cold War era. Nova Laboratory robotics experts Newton Crosby and Ben Jabituya developed advanced prototype robots called S.A.I.N.T. (Strategic Artificially Intelligent Nuclear Transport) for the U.S. military. Number 5, a cutting-edge experimental robot, undergoes a remarkable transformation after being struck by lightning. He suddenly gains self-awareness, consciousness, and an intense fear of reprogramming at the factory.
