======= Carlz Johnny 5 A-Frame + Caster ======= Come along with me on an adventure through the world of 3D printing as we create a short-circuited Johnny 5, just like in the movie. You'll be able to print your very own full-size model of this iconic robot, perfect for pairing with my life-sized Johnny 5 head. ========= Important Note ========= This full-scale model is designed to be poseable, but I've chosen to keep it static. However, you can do whatever you want with your 3D printed Johnny 5 - have fun and enjoy! The original inspiration for this project comes from the 1986 movie Short Circuit, which featured a robot named Johnny 5 created by robotics experts Newton Crosby and Ben Jabituya at the NOVA Laboratory. They developed several prototype robots called S.A.I.N.T. (Strategic Artificially Intelligent Nuclear Transport) for use in Cold War operations. Johnny 5 was one of these experimental military robots that underwent a sudden transformation after being struck by lightning. He gained self-awareness, consciousness, and a fear of the reprogramming that awaited him back at the factory. With the help of a young woman, Johnny 5 tried to evade capture and convince his creator that he had truly become alive. The original CAD files for this project come from input-inc.
