Easy to print "Carlisle" tank hunter (fiction), 1/100 scale, will want some greebling if scaled up. Fiction fluff: Carlisle tank hunter (British late WW2) Armament: Twin 17 pndr main turret (anti tank) & howitzer rear turret (anti infantry and utility, sometimes you need more explosion than penetration) Powertrain: 900hp naval multi-fuel steam turbine with hybrid electric drive. Engineered to make use of the progressively worse fuels available (bunker fuel etc.). Design/ painting note: the fans on top are cooling exhaust fans like those on a diesel electric locomotive. Chassis: Modified Churchill components. 110 tons Intent: Tank hunter that can operate independently & with a limited supply line. This is a silly vehicle and much like the Maus would be a huge waste of resources compared to multiple smaller tanks. However, also like the Maus, I'm not going to let its lack of usefulness stop me :) While I didn't add them, with the number of top hatches, you could add a bunch of pintle mounted machine guns. The mechanics' nests could also have mounted guns. Scale by 1.56 for gaslands / hotwheels / 1/64 Scale by 1.786 for 28mm / 1/56 UPDATE 9/7/2020 19:00 CST: "turrets armor engine" file downloaded before this update is NOT printable. New file is fixed, apologies.
