Carl the Robot Why Carl? Just because Carl

Carl the Robot is primarily a test of modeling capabilities within 123D. I've never constructed a model with this many components before, and he was designed on the fly for the most part. As shown here, Carl stands about 8 inches tall. He's intended to be assembled using glue, though you can position his head, arms, and waist freely. Perhaps Carl Mark II will feature more advanced joints. Printing notes: Print the head with its face upwards to avoid clearing supports from the eyes and mouth grille. Refer to the photo for optimal arm printing positions. The hips are printed with their back sides facing down on the build surface. The torso and legs can be printed upright, but note that the torso is slightly angled, requiring the "Lay Flat" option in Cura (similar settings should apply in other slicers). I've included the file Robo_all.stl, which displays Carl fully assembled, but printing from it may not be advisable.
