A versatile cargo pod design for StarMade allows for effortless stacking with itself or other units in any direction except downwards. The USD docking system seamlessly accommodates front-to-back and side-by-side configurations, providing unobstructed access to interior storage compartments, ship cores, and faction modules via a spacious interior space. A solitary USD dock adorns the top surface, while dedicated landing stations on both sides facilitate easy stacking of additional units. Wireless control enables real-time adjustments to the beacon atop each unit and illumination settings for left and right side running lights. Each self-contained pod boasts 10k storage capacity and can function as a temporary airlock in crisis situations. Despite limited shielding, power reserves, and thrust capabilities, strategically leveraging multiple pods allows for expedient cargo transportation between nearby locations.
