I've seen plenty of excellent designs online, but some can be challenging to create, others are simply too flimsy, or they need additional support materials like screws, which can make them complicated to assemble. My goal was to design a product that is both easy to produce and robust in construction, with no requirements for support, screws, or other components. The result is a straightforward design that requires only a small amount of glue and a short assembly time of around 5 minutes. For the lenses, you'll need either eBay or Aliexpress for the available options - specifically, 25mm diameter lenses with a focal length of 45mm are ideal for this product. When it comes to assembling the hinge mechanism, PLA or ABS filament in 1.75mm thickness is recommended for smooth operation and optimal results. The included rubber bands provide reliable holding power for your phone in place. While designed for most smartphone sizes, this product doesn't feature a locking system, mainly due to varying phone dimensions - which could make a proper lock mechanism impractical. A print time of around 12 hours is expected on standard printers; however, settings and printing quality may affect the final time slightly. I use 0.2mm layer height and an infill percentage ranging from 30-35%. An essential consideration: please be aware that this product is specifically designed for smartphones measuring up to 5.1 inches. Larger phones, particularly those exceeding 5.5 inches in screen size, may protrude beyond the case's confines, rendering a portion of their screens invisible.
