As of December 2014, more board designs are available under a less restrictive Creative Commons license on http://sheldrake.net/cardboards/. To create a cardboard surfboard core structure, download the EPS or DXF files and cut 21 12" x 24" panels of 4mm thick C flute cardboard. Take the panels to a laser engraver/cutter with a 12" x 24" cutting envelope, adjusting speed and power settings accordingly. After cutting all the parts, pop them out and arrange in order for assembly. For further instructions on assembling the core structure, visit http://sheldrake.net/cardboards. The project website also features pictures of completed boards and encourages users to share their results.
